HII-Camber is currently seeking a qualified person to fill the role of Postal War Plans and Logistics Support at Shaw, AFB, SC . This position is contingent upon contract award.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform as the USAFCENT A1/ Deputy FAM for Postal War Plans and Logistics. Assist with the management and oversight of all personnel and equipment within the Postal/Admin functional area to support operational planning and execution.
Develop and review policy; develop, manage, and maintain UTCs; develop criteria for and monitor readiness reporting, force posturing, and analysis. Provide staff coordination on/with documents, briefings, and staff papers as tasked.
Assist with management on the development of USAF Postal and Administrative UTCs, associated logistics details, and TPFDD for developing contingency directives, policies, and procedures for postal operations during contingencies and exercises.
Coordinate and review postal and administration manpower and detailed operational requirements with the United States Air Forces in Europe, Pacific Air Forces, Joint Military Postal Activities, Military Postal Service Agency and USPS to ensure efficient logistical support to/for all field units in the USAFCENT AOR are met.
Review host-tenant and inter-service support agreements for outdated information. Analyze location specific inspection results identifying trends which require specialized training. Analyze ULNs to ensure associated line remarks are not limiting the number of qualified individuals in the USAF.
Review Postal and Administration manpower requirements at USAFCENT locations. Address questions and concerns from deployed personnel regarding manpower. Review and analyze RFFs and Joint Manning Documents requirements. Assist subordinate units in preparing changes to the DRMD, staff DRMD changes at USAFCENT headquarters, and with appropriate external agencies including the AFPC and Headquarters, Air Staff.
Consult with USAFCENT bases, the AEF Center, HQ ACC, and other Air Force commands on the identification of personnel to fill DRMD positions. Manage change requests to the DRMD as required. Coordinate with USAFCENT JOPES staff, ACC, other Air Force commands, and joint transportation resources on inputs to the TPFDD required supporting the continuing rotation and deployment of personnel to the USCENTCOM AOR.
Assist with monitoring/implementing command-wide policy and procedural guidance for postal activities to comply with various DoD, USPS, USCENTCOM, USAFCENT, and USAF directives and policies.
Assist with inspections at locations in the USCENTCOM AOR to ensure compliance with postal policies, regulations and directives. Provide authoritative technical guidance to ensure field postal activities comply with various DoD, USPS, and Command directives governing the processing of mail.
Coordinate and provide field units with operating procedures, guidance, and policy on efficient postal operations, management, and mail processing. Research new technologies for application and provide technical solutions to postal operations within the USCENTCOM AOR. Ensure service provided is efficient and meets the needs of the activities/personnel served. Review and evaluate the effectiveness of postal procedures and practices of field activities; recommend changes as necessary. Assist with providing direction as appropriate for modifying existing operational procedures and/or personnel/organizational changes to improve overall operations. Serves as the SME for all postal matters.
Assist with implementing policy, guidance, and procedures for mail movement to, from, throughout, and within all responsible locations. Assist with determining the degree of standardization possible in transporting U.S. mail to, from, and within the USCENTCOM AOR as needed for emergent requirements.
Assist DoD personnel in preforming annual postal inspections and staff assistance visits on Military Post Offices and Mail Control Activity locations; enforcing standards and providing written reports to inspected activities. Attend conferences and meetings in the CONUS and OCONUS as the mission dictates.
Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum of ten years’ of Military Postal Plans, Logistics, and Service experience.
Minimum of three years’ of USAFCENT Postal Service specific theater experience.
Minimum of three years’ experience with JOPES and DCAPES databases.
Graduate of the Contingency War Planners Course within one year of assuming task. If not previously attended, cost will be covered by USAFCENT.
Bachelor’s degree, Management preferred.
