HII-TSD, Integrated Mission Solutions Group (Camber Corporation) is currently seeking a Senior Technology Integration Subject Matter Expert (SME) to work out of one of our office locations near northern Sacramento, California, to provide data science/machine learning technical support to existing programs and new business offerings and support the integration of new and emerging technologies in support of some of our nation’s most vital systems.
Duties and Responsibilities (to include but not be limited to the following):
Design and code highly scalable, Artificial Intelligence applications processing large volumes of data
Collaborate with customers and other employees to define, develop and integrate technology solutions to current and emerging operational mission support needs
Support the development of technical proposals and basis of estimates
Follow agile processes with a focus on delivering production-ready testable code in small iterations
Participate in the entire development lifecycle, from concept to release
Participate in all phases of quality assurance and defect resolution
Develop and submit RFIs, white papers, demonstrations that highlight the abilities of our Enterprise IT organization
Collaborate with SME’s and other business development team members to research and create technical solutions that align to RFP, SOW and other government solicitation materials
Interpret requirements from SOWs, RFPs and develop a winning technical approach with visually compelling graphics and estimates for staffing/level of effort Qualifications and Experience: Required -
Ability to perform tasks as outlined in Duties and Responsibilities above
Experience with applying advanced analytic techniques, including natural language processing and machine learning
Experience with scaling data products across distributable computing environments, including Hadoop
Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills. Must demonstrate the highest degree of professionalism while interacting with a diverse group
Self-directed and able to perform assignments independently, and at times, with management staff under time constraints and stringent deadlines
Familiar with CMMI-DEV ML3
Be proficient in Machine Learning to include: feature extraction, statistical approaches, linear and non-linear classifiers, and deep learning
Be proficient in Image Processing, Image Analysis, and/or Computer Vision
Ability to communicate effectively through written and verbal skills and must be able to communicate with external organizations, agencies, and entities to gain additional documentation or program knowledge
Graduate degree (MS or PhD) in Artificial Intelligence, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or Physics with specialization in speech recognition, natural language processing, machine translation, time series analysis, signal processing, or machine learning
Hands on model deployment with: classification (logistic regression, decision tree, random forest, boosting, ensemble classifier), neural network, retrieval and clustering.
7+ years of related work experience as a data scientist or Artificial Intelligence engineer OR a PhD and 5+ years of related work experience Preferred -
Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL database management systems
Experience that includes processing of unstructured data
Previous experience supporting business development, capture, and proposal activities
Ability to use MS Office and gain proficiency in the use of enterprise information sharing web applications (e.g. SharePoint, Microsoft Project, if required) Security:
US Citizenship required

Must be able to obtain a US Government security clearance at the Secret level
