HII-TSD, Integrated Mission Solutions Group (Camber Corporation) is currently seeking an Information Assurance Systems Engineer to work in Orlando, FL.

The IA Systems Engineer will review security requirements and certification and accreditation issues associated with LVC-OT systems, networks, and ranges. Serve as LVC Authorizing Official cyber security staff member, with responsibility for ensuring Information Assurance and Computer Security is incorporated in full life cycle of systems in computer and network infrastructure at all classification levels. Develop, improve, and implement Computer Network Defense (CND) and Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM) programs on unclassified and classified networks and systems.

Duties and Responsibilities (to include but not be limited to the following):

  • Support certification and accreditation processes, such as Risk Management Framework (RMF), Continuous Monitoring (CM), and assist in development and implementation of plans of action and milestones (POA&M).

  • Develop and report relevant metrics and information on Information Assurance, RMF, CM, CND, and security control status of networks and systems.

  • Develop and provide Information Assurance and CND training, guides and instructions.

  • Independently plan, organize, prioritize, and develop schedules to deliver program objectives on schedule, within budget, and adhering to DoD regulations and changing situations.

  • Provide Air Force advice and assistance on establishing an Enterprise Live, Virtual, Constructive (LVC) standardized architecture that will interoperate and seamlessly integrate within the framework of DoD CIO IT Strategy; coordinating parallel DoD and AF initiatives to migrate net-centric activities toward a cloud based approach.

  • Assist the government to ensure the LVC-Operational Training centralized foundational management team develops a plan and implements accordingly the capabilities to use and optimize network application traffic, improve manageability of the enterprise with centralized infrastructure management tools, and deploy end user functionalities

  • Assist the government in assessment of systems engineering plans

  • Assist the government to ensure SAF/CIO A6 and AFCS guidance alignment and adherence of LVC-OT IT design/development; Conduct activities at security levels as required to include Special Access Programs

Qualifications and Experience:

Required-

  • 5 years minimum as an Information System Manager or Certifying Assessor Representative

  • Experience with Information Assurance and Cybersecurity

  • Experience with DIACAP and RMF

  • Working knowledge of eMASS

  • Experience applying information systems security principles and concepts and project management principles.

  • Experience in applying information systems security concepts and methods across IT disciplines.

  • Experience with Operational Air Force systems

  • Possess a security related certification that is approved as a DoD 8570 Baseline Certification

  • Possess an IAM Level II certification (i.e., CAP, CISSP (or Associate), CASP, CISM, GSLC)

Preferred-

  • Bachelor of Science in Technical Field

  • DoD Directive 8570 IAM Level III compliance (i.e., CISSP, GSLC, or CISM)

  • Familiarity with:

  • Joint Training Enterprise Architecture (JTEA)

  • DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF)

  • Joint Training Integration and Evaluation Center (JTIEC)

  • Distributed Interactive Simulation (DIS)

  • High Level Architecture (HLS)

  • Test and Training Enabling Architecture (TENA)

  • Navy Continuous Training Environment (NCTE)

  • National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Cloud Computing Definitions and Standards (NIST Special Publication 800-145 and 800-144)

Security:

  • All candidates will be subject to a pre-employment background investigation and drug screening per HII requirements.

  • Top Secret clearance required for consideration

  • May be required to obtain SAP/SAR access
