HII-TSD, Integrated Mission Solutions Group (Camber Corporation) is currently seeking a multiple Schedulers to work out of units within the 353rd Special Operations Group (SOG), Kadena AB, Okinawa, Japan.
The following statements of duties and responsibilities are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by individuals assigned to this position. These statements are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties and responsibilities required of all personnel within this position. Duties and Responsibilities:
Current Operations and Scheduling Support: Air Force Special Ops Forces (SOF) Scheduling is a challenging and dynamic process. Even after the schedule is printed, numerous changes are required because of aircraft mechanical problems, medical issues, flight evaluation requirements, expiring event currencies, deployments and student training continuity to name a few. Weather conditions and other factors beyond the control of the scheduler also limit flying opportunities. Furthermore, overseas locations may require additional Host Nation coordination and localized procedures. The scheduler needs to be able to adapt quickly to changing circumstances in a medium-to-high stress environment. Depending on the particular unit of assignment, any of the following duties and responsibilities could apply. The Contractor shall:
Work in close concert with training officer, Squadron Aviation Resource Management (SARM), Operations Officer (DO) and other operations personnel to schedule approximately 100-200 people facilitating daily flying operations, aircrew qualification, upgrade, test, exercises, and continuation training accomplishment to meet required currency and progression standards, IAW AFSOC and DO priorities.
Will assist with range/airspace scheduling, flying mission tracking, scheduling, and related training support as designated by the particular squadron.
While solving complex problems and last minute changes, contractors must assure 100 percent mission requirements are filled with no gaps in mission coverage.
Will assist squadron leadership on daily operations within the current operations unit to include flying schedules and de-confliction of aircrew currencies, qualifications, upgrades and training rides. This includes any and all mission/ training events and any airspace required for the execution of the scheduled flying line.
Will be proficient in the utilization of Center Scheduling Enterprise.
Will assist in forecasting, developing and coordinating with various internal and external agencies with the execution of the 353 SOG flying and ground range schedule.
Shall have experience with all facets of Microsoft Office predominantly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Must be experienced in current AF standard scheduling software suites, like Patriot Excalibur (PEX).
Must possess strong oral and written skills.
Must be able to track and monitor suspense systems, screen incoming correspondence (oral and written), review written correspondence for correct classification markings and ensure decisions and directives are properly disseminated to Government officials.
Shall be proactive in identifying problem areas and providing corrective actions.
Shall be customer oriented and display a professional and cooperative attitude when performing service for the Government.
As applicable, ensure its employees promptly report pertinent facts regarding mishaps involving reportable damage or injury to the AFSOC VPP Office and cooperate (IAW AFI 91-204) in any Air Force safety investigation.
Shall provide a copy of the metrics data along with analysis in their weekly report to the Government Contracting Officer Representative (COR) not later than 1000 hours each Friday.
Keep track when crewmembers will be on leave, temporary duty, have scheduled medical appointments or other scheduling commitments. Contractor will de-conflict crewmember schedules and work with flight leadership to ensure crews are available to meet assigned taskings. Ensure 100% accountability for aircrew schedule inputs and coordinate late inputs with unit leadership.
Qualifications and Experience:
Minimum of two years of experience working with Air Force (AF) and Special Ops Forces (SOF) organizational structures, functions and procedures, as well as command relationships and responsibilities.
Minimum two years of experience as aircrew member on SOF aircraft with knowledge of SOF aircrew procedures, aircrew training, standardization and evaluation, publications management, exercise management, and mobility requirements.
Security Clearance Required: Secret Clearance. The selected applicants will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
All candidates will be subject to a pre-employment background investigation and drug screening per HII requirements.
