Huntington Ingalls Industries - Technical Solutions Division, Integrated Mission Solutions Group (Camber Corporation) provides mission-critical engineering and technical service to Information Technology, Federal Civilian, and National Security, Aerospace & Defense and International government and commercial customers at over 100 locations worldwide.

We are currently seeking a Project Manager (PM) to work in support of the Fort Campbell Logistics Support Services (LSS) contract (contingent upon contract award).

The PM is directly responsible for all aspects of the effort and shall have the autonomy from the corporate headquarters to execute the effort unimpeded by corporate management.

Duties and Responsibilities (to include but not be limited to the following):

  • Responsible for all facets of project execution.

  • Main Point of Contact for the Government customer.

  • Leads/develops subordinate managers, supervisors and leads.

  • Establishes organization objectives, interprets company policies, and delegates assignments to subordinate managers.

  • Hires/removes personnel to and from the project.

  • Conducts performance evaluations, plans salary actions, recommends promotions, interprets and applies organization policies, and provides leadership toward resolving employee problems.

  • Requires knowledge of linkage between business and project.

  • Tracks and is responsible for financial aspects of the project.

Qualifications and Experience:

Required-

  • The PM must be highly qualified and possess general supervisory experience, supply management experience and transportation experience directly applicable to this effort.

  • The PM must have specific management experience in Retail-level supply, maintenance, or asset management.

  • The PM must have a minimum fifteen (15) years of management experience in Army logistics operations.

  • The PM must have experience with financial management and knowledge of Army Logistics Management Systems (LIS).

  • PM must understand and have the ability to properly implement and manage an ISO / quality management system.

  • Must have a working knowledge of automated data processing systems supporting logistics operations.

  • Must be fluent in speaking and writing the English language.

  • Knowledge of key Program Management tools and techniques including scheduling, cost management, change control, concepts of balance of time, scope and resources, work breakdown structures and contracts.

  • Demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement through team participation and results.

  • Minimum (8) eight years’ experience in logistics operations.

Preferred-

  • Green Belt Certification a Plus.

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification a Plus.

  • Minimum four (4) year college degree required from an accredited educational institution, recognized by the U.S. Department of Education or equivalence in experience.

Security:

  • Must have Secret Security Clearance or be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.

  • All candidates will be subject to a pre-employment background investigation and drug screening per HII requirements.
