Linguist Workflow Coordinator
The selected applicants will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
A qualified linguist in one or more of the following foreign languages:Arabic, Pashto, Dari, Persian-Farsi, Spanish, Punjabi, German, Somali, Turkish, Hausa, French, Kurdish, Russian, Uzbek, Bengali, Indonesian, and Tajik;
TS/SCI clearance with polygraph;
Experience with coordinating or managing a similar workflow process;
Advanced professional proficiency in one or more of the languages stated above.Advanced professional proficiency is defined as the ability to achieve a minimum score of 3 on a language test based on the Interagency Language Roundtable (ILR) 5-point scale.
Familiarity with the Deployable Harmony Document Exploitation (DOCEX) system and other translational tools used at NMEC;
Experience preparing written gists, translations, and/or transcriptions of handwritten or typed documents, audio, and/or video formats in an Intelligence Community (IC) agency or capacity.
Ability to accurately screen and logically define or describe material content for reporting and uploading to NMEC databases;
Experience with quality control activities to include reviewing other linguists work for accuracy, and providing final editorial approval for reports and briefings
Ensure the efficient flow and ingest of processed media through the National Media Exploitation Center (NMEC) exploitation process.
Create, maintain, and track entries into the Deployable Harmony DOCEX system, as well as, other related translational tools. Workflow Coordinators also directly disseminate content to Government customers, and report on the status and completion of projects to the customer.
