Assistant Program Manager - Language Exploitation

Qualifications

The selected applicants will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

  • ​TS clearance

  • Associate's Degree

  • Familiarity with the National Media Exploitation Center's (NMEC) Exploitation System

  • Three (3) years' experience as a direct, hands-on manager and supervisor.

  • Three (3) years' previous experience working as a linguist

  • Three (3) years' experience in managing document and media exploitation operations.

  • Proficient in the MS Office Suite

  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including well-developed briefing skills

  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage within a dynamic environment.

Duties

The Assistant Program Manager for language exploitation oversees the gisting, summary, and translation of items identified by customer requests for language services, quality control, linguists' workloads, dissemination of products directly to customers and data bases, and overseeing the content of data bases. The Assistant Program Manager coordinates with other USG offices and components to ensure the timely translation and dissemination of files and/or documents of intelligence value in accordance with customer priorities, requirements, and standard operating procedures. He or she also assists government supervisors managing the Deployable Harmony DOCEX suite (DHDS) of tools and other tools used in language exploitation as designated by the government. The Assistant Program Manager performs supervisory and administrative functions over team leads and others.
