Requirements:
Extensive background in Unix and Linux systems administration and configuration, especially Redhat Enterprise Linux 5.x. Experience programming with Bash, Perl, and Python
Experience with Unix/Linux internals, in particular SELinux, IPTables TCP/IP networking
Dataflow tools and technologies (SSH, LDAP, SFTP, Message Bus, JMS, DNS, NFS, HTTP)
Experience with VMware ESX 4.1 infrastructures, in particular vSphere and vMotion
Job Duties:
Provide Unix/Linux system programming support and provide a Systems Engineering approach to both a server team and a data flow team. Candidate will integrate applications for dataflow and will write glue code to facilitate this. Candidate will also setup and configure virtual servers to facilitate dataflow. Candidate must have the ability to work in a dynamic environment with a customer that values a self starter with the ability to resolve technical issues and design long-term solutions.
