Requirements:
3 - 5 years dataflow work on SIGINT programs (must be evidenced in work history)
•Working knowledge of Solaris or Linux
•Working knowledge of Microsoft Word
•Willingness to travel 3 or 4 times per year
Additional Preferred Skills:
•Familiar with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd party data flow regulations
•Familiar with DOD 5000
•Knowledge of collection systems
SIGINT data type knowledge
•System Engineering degree or equivalent experience
Job Duties:
This position is for a System Engineer IV to support Monitoring in the analysis, development and deployment of a monitoring architecture solution. The Monitoring System Engineer will work as a systems engineer supporting a Government lead to achieve the goals outlined by the Monitoring Program Manager. Specific Duties include:
Specific duties include:
•Leading the systems engineering activities to accomplish spin goals to include coordinating and participating in design meetings and technical review meetings; developing technical plans to guide capability development; and reporting status of capability development activities
•Working with system architects, system developers, testers, and systems engineers to develop and maintain block diagrams, sequence diagrams, use cases, interface definitions, and other analysis and design artifacts to be used for design and development.
•Writing and coordinating the preparation of technical documentation. The documentation will include but not be limited to: technical management plans, requirements documents, and technical briefings.
Responsibilities include installing/configuring data transport applications to include mailorder, jdts and niagrafiles. Coordinating with customers to ensure data paths are established from customer sites to back-end repositories. Implementing the data flow requirements for new deployments or upgrades. Conducting data flow tests at customer sites and follow up activities.
