Camber is seeking an Information Assurance/Cybersecurity Analyst for the Air Force Weather Weapons Authorizing Official (AFWW AO). The AFWW AO is charged with the Assessment and Authorization of all Air Force Weather Information Systems (IS), Platform IT (PIT), IT Services, IT Products, IT Applications and all Research, Development, Testing and Evaluation of aforementioned IS within their boundary. The selected candidate will review and assess security controls and artifacts in accordance with the Department of Defense (DoD) Risk Management Framework (RMF) implementation of the NIST RMF NIST SP 800-53r4.
Requirements: Support information assurance/cybersecurity requirements for the AFWW AO. This includes the development of implementation policy for RMF, interpretation of NIST 800-53r4 security controls, understanding of artifacts in support of those controls and providing recommendations on improving the cybersecurity posture of Air Force Weather IS.
Must meet DoD 8570.01-M IAM Level II Certification or above: CAP, CASP CE, CISM, CISSP (or Associate) or GSLC.
Experience in coordinating with DoD organizations, federal agencies, and commercial partners.
Experience with the RMF and development of policies to successfully certify and accredit DoD enclaves and information systems.
Experience in applying DISA Security Technical Information Guides (STIG) and developing a Vulnerability Management Plan for Windows, Linux, and UNIX operating systems.
Support the development and implementation of policies and procedures required for RMF.
Apply DISA STIGs and operating system updates to comply with DoD Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM) process.
The refinement of tasks will be accomplished at monthly meetings via technical direction of the RFS lead.
Required Experience: Five (5) years’ experience in information assurance, cybersecurity or compliance auditing.
Desired Education: A bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM).
Clearance: Top Secret with SCI eligibility. The selected applicants will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
Travel: 25% is required.
